West Virginia My home Well today people I paid the taxes on my and my Brother’s land. Feels good to be a land owner. Lol
Went out to the property to take a look around and see how things were coming along. See recently, there were 2 oil wells drilled on the property and I wanted to see how the oil company had reclaimed the land. To say I was impressed was an understatement. It was how I remembered it when I first saw the property when I was a small lad, just with two flow wells added to the memory.
This is the land in which I want to build a house to get away from it all.
This is the bottom land that is on the opposite side of the road from the previous picture, it would be most excellent for a garden, simply beautiful.
This picture is of one of the neighbors that lives in the same area as our property, beautiful isn’t it. These people have some of the best beef cattle in WV.
Anyway I will keep this short due to the fact I am very tired from hiking all day.
Just remember when You think of West Virginia just think of
Wild and Wonderful
We West Virginians already know it is “Almost Heaven.”

That’s a real pretty piece of land you got there. I could picture a log cabin sitting square on that hill with all the trees as a background. Ever thought you might add a small pond to the property?

Actually Jodie in the Second picture to the left just beyond the treeline there is a natural spring, in the spring and summer you can actually hear bullfrogs My bro and I are thinking about making it wider and see what happens. About the Cabin, well in the Second pic again was where a 1 room schoolhouse once stood. My uncle tried to keep it up but it was just in too bad of shape. Sad.
The second to last pic my bro and I are thinking of putting veggie crops there there is a natural stream that runs right next to it. Not pictured is a shed that needs serious work, but that is do able.
